Tides Announce Off-Season Additions The Tides announced their off-season roster moves today in anticipation of the 2010 season. The team’s roster currently stands at 21 active players and one inactive roster member. Here is a look at the newest Tides.

Tides Meeting Big Success The Tides kicked off the 2010 season in style with a team meeting followed by a night of racing at Grand Prix New York -- the northeast's premier indoor sprint car race track. 17 of the 19 members of the '10 roster were in attendance to fill out forms, prepare for the season and then catch up with teammates while whipping around the track at upwards of 40 MPH. |

Tides Hit the Track in Preparation For 2010! In anticipation of the 2010 season the Peekskill Tides will be holding their annual players kickoff meeting. Typically, that's not big news, however this year the Tides will be hitting the track as part of a team event. |

De La Rosa Announces Retirement Veteran Tides outfielder Dave De La Rosa announced he will not be returning for the 2010 season. Instead, De La Rosa is hanging up his spikes to focus his time on his two children including son Jamie who's served as the Tides bat boy in 2009. |

Peekskill Finishes 14-14 Overall The Tides ended the 2009 regular season on a winning note defeating the Rockland Rebels 15-5 to even their record at 14-14 on the year. It was an up and down season for the Tides but after a 5-9 start the club finished the year 9-5 battling all season long.

Tides Battle Elements, Cyclones in 11-6 Win The Tides climbed back to .500 with an 11-6 victory over the Somers Cyclones last night. The game which was played on a cold damp night that included early rain which put the game in doubt made it feel more like a September evening than July night.

Newcomers Playing Well For Tides 2009 has been a year of transition for the Tides with 11 former players departing and 12 new players joining a new coaching staff this season. Despite a disappointing 11-12 overall record several new Tides players are distingushing themselves this season as players who Peekskill can grow with into the future.
