The Peekskill Tides capitalized on the outstanding pitching performances of starter (and winner) Shawn Tarkington, Joe Jensen and Jim Schult (who earned the save) to give Co-Managers Denis Alimonti and Matty Maher their first win in a 2-0 shutout of the Hastings Lookouts.

Denis Alimonti and Matty Maher have taken over the reins of the Peekskill Tides – from Manager Chris Jones and Coach Steve Shurak for the 2013 Season. The Peekskill Tides are celebrating 20 years and are one of the original four teams of the Westchester/Putnam Men’s Adult Baseball League.
08/06/12 Maher, Caputo, Rock & Schult Named All-Stars
The Tides will have four players representing the team at the 2012 WRWBL All-Star Game. All three of the team's outfield starters Matt Maher, Joe Rock and Carmine Caputo were elected to the team, as was shortstop Jeff Schult.
08/05/12 Amodeo CG Eliminates Astros; Pushes Tides Into Seminfinals
John Amodeo fired a complete game and the Tides got an important two run homer from Joe Rock to win 8-3 over the #3 seeded Rockland Astros. With the victory #6 seeded Peekskill sweeps the best two of three series two games to none and moves into the semifinal round series for the first time since 2008.
